Marly is not a name of a man. Well i think it could be a name of a man in other places. but the Marly that i'm talking about here is not a person. It is a one of a kind body decoration that is very popular with us teenagers today. And it is also called the Frenulum Piercing.
Frenulum piercings refer to three different oral piercings. The frenulum(tongue web), smiley and the frowny. The tongue web is the small, thin flap of skin under your tongue. the smiley on the other hand is the one attached to the upper side of the front gums, whereas the frowny is on the opposite side.
Among these three oral piercings, the most preferred piercing is the frenulum or the tongue web piercing. The Tongue web is the one responsible for the proper movement of the tongue. If one is said to be "tongue tied", it is connected to the frenulum being either too far forward or too short which can limit the movement of the tongue. This is also the reason why not everyone can have a frenulum piercing, but if your frenulum is just the right size, then you are very lucky :)
Getting the frenulum pierced actually doesn't hurt, at least to some degree. And hey this is based on other people's experiences i've read from the internet :) And it is really very cute especially when you use a barbell :) If you are one of the lucky people with a frenulum piercing do share your pictures, i am one hell of a fan :)
