Various Types of Nose Piercing

  • Nose piercing is one of the three most popular piercing throughout the world. It is the most frequently found body piercing along with ear piercing especially among the women. Almost 98% of women have their nose pierced.

     

    There are variations of nose piercing- nostril piercing, septum piercing, bridge piercing.

     

    Nostril piercing is the most frequent type of nose piercing as well as body piercing. In this kind of piercing, the jewelry is positioned someplace on the rim of the nostril. It may be placed on any side of the nose, left or right, according to your choice.  

     

    Another variety of nose piercing is septum- in this type of piercing the hole is made in the cartilage wall, at the bottom of the nostrils. This type of piercing is also known as “bull ring”.

     

    Yet another variety of nose piercing is bridge, which sometimes termed as Earl piercing. This type of nose piercing is made on the surface of the nose, through the skin of the bridge. This type piercing is critical to heal.
