  We recognize bad taste in tattoos, rings and studs, by looking at their
  nature, size, extent and place on the body. Ironically, even florid and
  colorful tattoos fade over time and end up looking dark and dreary. When
  one considers how, in concentration camps, prisoners were treated like
  animals and branded on their arm with a number, it is amazing to think that
  people today adopt similar markings as if they were fashionable or smart.
  This is truly the sign of a return to barbarity, the behavior of people who
  do not have any sense of the dignity of the human person.

  I'd like to hear your opinion about this. How do we defend ourselves against these aggressions?

  Who set the standards for dignity and barbarity? And what makes one person better than another? Every person has an intrinsic value who has the right to live, to love, and to express himself.
  
  In the Bible, children were circumcised without anesthesia at the age of eight days old. People who claim to be dignified instigate wars and enjoy the luxuries of jet-set lifestyle while children are dying. Where is the dignity in that? For me, it is more barbaric to live in excess while others are suffering in want. I rest my case.

  Good point Kassie. Every person has a right to be.
  As for me, it's good to identify with those who suffered in the concentration camps. If their marks were a sign of shame, I wear them now in pride of the legacy these martyrs have left us.
  In truth, we are interconnected with each other,,, what happened to them also happened to us.
  
  I take pride in who I am and my being true to myself, and I forgive these present-day Pharisees who do not know what they are doing.

  Poor guys. Insecurity is a terrible thing. You see, it's easier to tear others down than to try to bring one's self up. But can't blame them. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

  It would really be a loss of respect if you tattoo yourself with a prisoner number. That is being disrespectful of the people that came from prison camps that had numbers tattooed on them the same way and had changed their lives for the better.

  everybody should respect others' believes and activities. people, who do not like tattoos, should not criticize tattoo lovers
