  I am very much interested to tattoos but I know only some types of tattoos whereas many types of tattoos are available. Please share your knowledge here as how many types of tattoos do you know?

   

  I know only three types of tattoos which are Naturalistic Tattoos, Abstraction Tattoos and complex tattoos.

  How does those three kinds of tattoos differ? Sorry am new to tattoo and got curious :) And i saw on this site that there are tattoos that are combined with piercings. So what would you call those kind of tattoos?

  The American Academy of Dermatology differentiates 5 types of tattoos:

  - traumatic tattoos, also termed "natural tattoos"

  - amateur tattoos

  - professional tattoos, both

  - cosmetic tattoos, also branded as "permanent makeup" and

  - medical tattoos.

  That's some list Henry! Great job finding it! I think cosmetic tattoos are the safest tattoos. as most tattoos in one way or another could be a passageway for more bacteria, chemicals and stuff to get inside our bodies. Or am i just biased?

  There are various types of tattoos you can select from to express.Seriously, I'm no tattoo artist to tell you that that this is one of the many things.
