Like any other type of body piercing, ear piercing also needed several aftercares to be healed properly in a shorter period of time and without any unusual problem occurred-
- If you need to touch your piercing area, properly clean your hands with antiseptic before doing so.
- Clean your wound with solution suggested by the piercer according to their instruction.
- Do not remove or replace your ear lobe piercing jewelry within 6 weeks
- In case of ear cartilage piercing, this time period is 8 to 12 months- do not remove your earring within this period of time if you have your ear cartilage pierced
