In my place, men with ear piercings are stereotyped as hippies, uneducated, dirty and substance abusers. But as I look with fascination at my favorite stars who look so great with ear piercings, part of me rebelled inside. Why should I subject myself to the mores of society? Don't I have the right to be myself?

Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert had his genital pierced in order to keep it in the right place when wearing the tight trouser which was fashionable during his time. Hence Prince Albert piercing.

  • About Me A single file to dehumanization reprogrammed to hate. My rant on senseless music: "There were a billion music downloads last year, but music sales are up. Where's the evidence that downloads hurt business? Downloads create more demands. Since I've been giving my music away for free under the old system, I'm not afraid of wireless, MP3 files or any of the other threats to my copyrights. Anything that makes my music more available to more people is great" -Courtney Love on music piracy in 2000 at the Digital Hollywood Entertainment conference Lol. True in a way. Take for example those stuck up popular icons of the current mainstream pop culture and the respective labels they're committed to. Their records storm the charts year after year but does major record labels recognize that the farther their clients' success goes, the more they put those originals as subject to piracy? The public would always try to find a way to cut their goal to monopolize the business. They care too much about the patron-client relationship they possess and try to attain as much but what they're blind about (or are they?) is that they hurt their chances of securing original materials with every raw attempt to make one big move in the playing field. They apparently have no desire to share the limelight and continue being stuck up. The one big move they may have possibly made was the closure of certain P2P applications not very recently. Seriously, it's wealth over work of art. Whatever the hell became of music? Some group of people still keep within them the true, yet sadly, gradually deteriorating tradition and cycle of music. What's even more outrageous is that souls that claim to have an extreme liking to mainstream music goes on and tries to insult and criticize the lovers of real music. I find it not a quite but exceedingly ironic. How about you? This ongoing paradox might die fast as soon as the future minds are intoxicated by the nonsense the mainstream music shit feeds you. But even by then, real music would flow and shine brightly in the blood that runs through the veins of the radio. My rant on politics: Politics. Might possibly get amusing and interesting if pride shouldv'e been taken out of the equation. Very amusing that instead of being listed as the 49th state of the U.S., once upon a time, and take part of the possible benefits presented with a new brand of citizenship, politicians turned down one hell of a deal that might've changed the course of history and the bitter fate for Filipinos. Misery could've been long gone should the politicians haven't decided to go independent. Their rules don't apply to themselves. .... But let's skip all this gibberish I've been blabbering about. Take it personally, then it's your sanity's loss. I couldn't care less. Ever since I exited rehab about a year ago to set foot once again to a world of what I missed in my abscence, not much has changed. Although, I can assure that I'm in an elevating progress for the better. Fast forward: Encounter a canvas of new faces to install in my memory and names to engrave deeply somewhere inside, it is now apparent to me, countless aspects of my personality have been changed. Varied, tossed and turned around. An almost negative all the way perspective had turned the table on itself. I, for once, possessed in me a being close to being unfathomable. A crude sense and line of profanities and obscenities, word after word (I'm the sarcastic type by the way), rides and slides down my tongue and exits my lips. Crumpled were the hearts of those whom I considered dear. Fate has worked it's way towards me through some light-hearted souls. They know who they are. If you think you are, then it's probably because you are. Carpe diem. If not now, when? This is 2011. The world is aging. Her hairline is receding.
