Will the industrial piercing be more painful than my tattoo?

I am thinking of having an industrial piercing, but I am afraid about the pain. I have a beautiful tattoo on my right foot, but that did not go right- it was very painful. This is why I am becoming afraid; would you tell me that will the industrial piercing be more painful than my tattoo?

Victoria Beadle said "Its a totally different pain from having a tattoo done. Its just like any cartilage piercing. My couch hurt more than my industrial piercing but everyone acts different to the pain."

Loki Grimm said "Pain is all very perspective. I could tell you that my niether of my industrial piercings really hurt me at all, but my cousin also got one and she swore it was one of the most painful things that has ever experienced. So really, the question posed is not really something anyone would be able to tell you."

First of all, these two sensations cannot be compared as they are completely different sensations. But, I can assure you that it will not be as painful as your tattoo was. People, who have experienced foot tattoos, think that it is a very painful process. On the contrary, the piercing process is a shorter process and it does not hurt too much. And it will be probably an easy process for you as you are already experienced with a tattoo. Another important fact is, such processes generally depend on the tolerance of the person. So, I think you should not lose your courage, and it will be a relatively easy experience for you. Best of luck – do not forget to be sincere during the aftercare process until it is healed properly.
